"One of these days, I'm gonna get organizized!"
When I was younger, I used to make mixtape CDs for friends. Not because I had something to say, but because the songs said it better. There was something magical about sharing a song you loved and seeing someone else connect with it too. This has made me dream of opening a record store someday. A place where every album on the shelf is there because I genuinely love it, and where conversations about music matter as much as the records themselves.
Organizized feels a bit like that store. A shelf of songs I've gathered over the years, one record pulled down each day and placed on the counter with a few thoughts beside it.
Why is it called Organizized? I don't know, it's a joke from Taxi Driver. Maybe because my life rarely feels organized. Work, obligations, ambitions, the constant noise of adulthood. This is simply a small attempt to become a little more organizized by spending time with something I love.
